For a truly mesmerising evening, the Mascheranda Ball is second to none for those wanting a party-ball feel and involvement in all things Carnival. Be dressed in authentic period costume for a night like no other.
Taking place at the stunning Palazzo Pisani Moretta, the Mascheranda Ball features a night of fantastic entertainment including singers, dancers, acrobats, magicians, palmists and so much more. The Noble Floor which the ball takes place on, has unmissable frescoes, and with a Baroque Band playing while you enjoy your sumptuous dinner, the hours will fly by all too fast!
Now in it’s 22nd edition, the Mascheranda Ball just gets better and better each year.
Fly to Venice where your meet & greet watertaxi transfer will take you to your hotel. This is vital as Venice is very busy at carnival time and having a representative assist you with your luggage to your boat saves time!
5 star Sina Centurion Palace is located diagonally across from St Mark’s Square and right on the Grand Canal. This stunning hotel is perfect for showing the full opulence of the Venetian setting.
Rest of day at leisure.
This morning attend your costume fitting appointment with the Atelier. You will have pre-selected your costume beforehand from the atelier’s catalogue, so this appointment ensures everything fits and is comfortable. These fittings are limited to 4 people at any one time to ensure you have a high level of personal service and feel truly special.
Once dressed like a Venetian noble, do as the locals do and promenade around Venice in your historical costume. This really is a highlight as Venice becomes alive with colour and style as everyone in their masked finery takes to the streets. Enjoy the tourists taking photos of you looking your best. Whilst promenading, why not treat yourself to a glass of Champagne at Westin Europa & Regina or at The Monaco, both overlooking the Grand Canal.
Evening at leisure. Alternatively, why not add in our Optional Extra Gourmet Tasting Dinner. Get to sample Michelin Starred traditional Venetian cuisine at The Met Restaurant, Hotel Metropole. See Optional Extra below for more information.
After breakfast, enjoy some more time promenading in your historical costume. Take to St Mark’s Square or why not take yourself to the Rialto Bridge to be admired further!
This evening you will be transferred by watertaxi to the Palazzo Pisani Moretta, which houses the Mascheranda Ball. From all the masked balls on offer, this is the ball most resembling an 18th century Baroque celebration.
A welcome aperitif will meet you as you enter the Main Saloon, before you enter the Noble Floor, where the frescoes are awe inspiring.
Enjoy your Side Room dining in the smaller rooms, before entering the main hall for the entertainment. The entertainment includes live classical music by the Baroque Quartet, palmists, belly dancers, fortune tellers and magicians to entertain you.
Then, you have the option of joining the Master of Dance for a lesson on popular period dances which may include the Cotillon and Minuetto.

After dinner there is a open bar, and you can choose between traditional dancing or the disco and DJ downstairs, with further live performances to entertain you. The ball closes at around 2.30am.

We had a fantastic time. The hotel was superb and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The ball was wonderful, really enjoyable. We got stopped several times by locals complimenting me on the outfit as well as by all the camera happy tourists. Thanks for all your help and you can be sure we would recommend Weekend a la Carte to friends.
We had a wonderful weekend and thought the overall organisation was excellent. So much so that we would be interested in returning another year. The various elements of the package came together perfectly and the food and accommodation were excellent. Thank you to everyone involved.
