We’ve had a fantastic time and experience! A huge part of being able to completely relax and enjoy the holiday was that everything from start to finish with yourselves had been superbly and efficiently arranged. It has been a pleasure dealing with you and having our holiday arranged by you. The hotels were excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. Also the standard of transfer vehicles and drivers was excellent too. It helps so much when you know everything has been arranged to such a standard.
I described, in broad terms, what I wanted: Verona operas, Lake Garda, and the Palio in Siena, and let Weekend a la Carte fill in the blanks. They were most cooperative, most selective in the places we stayed, and the travel arrangements were uniformly excellent. Good personal service from Hannah Netting also. We would definitely use this company again, and recommend them highly.

Our Italian Grand Tour trips are great for those who have never been on an Italian short break as well as for those who have explored only a part of this beautiful, versatile country. Choose from three and four centre breaks which can include city and lake, event-driven with time to relax and the ability to fully tailor-make with more time or less to suit you. We can either fill your time with private and small group tours or let you have free time to explore at your own pace. Our Grand Tour breaks are just an idea of what we can do and what we recommend.
In each location we have must do tours with other, sometimes quirky additions. All feature nearby hotels right in the centre, so you have the ability to wander and explore. Furthermore the transfers are private to you, so no big buses of people to wait on.
As well as tailor-making the core of your Italian holiday to you, we also try to find the best hotels most in keeping with your wishes, whether this is romantic 5 star luxury, more modern or traditional hotel, with mobility-friendly. They are all central so you are free to walk out and explore without the need for transfers, and we know them all very well. We have extensive feedback from our guests on this.
Choose from Venice, Verona, Milan, the lakes, Lucca, Florence, Rome, Siena, Rome, Naples and Sorrento, all very accessible to travel either by private transfers or first class train.
