For planning that once in a lifetime trip, you can do no better than a visit to La Scala, considered the best Opera house in the world. With an eclectic mix of operas and ballets running most of the year round, there is something for everyone.
The other main site that Milan has to offer is “The Last Supper” fresco by Leonardo Da Vinci. Incredibly this survived heavy shelling during World War II, and can be visited but only if you can get hold of the often elusive tickets!
Milan is very well situated for all types of holidays. If you want to have some time relaxing, Lake Maggiore is nearby, however, if you want more culture, Verona and Venice are very near too.
Please note there are very limited tickets for performance events prior to March. If there is a performance you would like to see in January and February, please let us know and we will check with our supplier.
*Matinee performances begin at 2.30pm.
Fly to Milan. With most regional UK airports providing a daily flight service, you can choose the airport that best suits you.
Waiting for you in the Arrivals Hall will be your private driver to transfer you to your 4 star centrally located hotel.
All of the hotels we use are within walking distance of the main sights including the Duomo, La Scala, Castello Sforzesco and The Last Supper fresco. Milan is a small city and very easy to walk around.

The tour includes entrance tickets to Isola Madre and Isola Bella (no entrance tickets required for Isola dei Pescatori).

Leonardo da Vinci first created quite a stir when he painted “The Last Supper”, and today we provide you with entrance tickets to witness this fresco at a pace to suit you.
This fresco has narrowly avoided two main disasters – the paint badly fading so the figures became unrecognisable, the second almost being destroyed during the bombing of World War II. This enigmatic painting has led to speculation that it is Mary and not John sitting to Jesus’ right.
Rest of day at leisure.
If you want a second night at the opera or even one night at the ballet, then schedule and availability permitting, we can add this on for you.
Price Per Person: From Ballet – £235 / Opera – £385
At leisure until your private airport transfer for your flight home after your Milan Opera Break.
